Law360 (June 12, 2018, 8:45 PM EDT) — The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has opened a new California office to pursue immigrants suspected of using fake identities to obtain citizenship, according to the agency on Tuesday.
The USCIS said that the Los Angeles office will be responsible for screening cases for immigrants who have been ordered deported and are believed to have later used multiple identities to receive immigration benefits, such as citizenship.
