DOS Announces U.S. Embassy in Tunis Begins Processing Libyan Immigrant Visas

DOS announced that the U.S. Embassy in Tunis, Tunisia, has been designated as the primary site to process immigrant visas for Libyan nationals residing in Libya. Due to visa restrictions placed on Libyan nationals by the Government of Morocco, the U.S. Embassy in Casablanca, Morocco, will no longer be a designated site for Libyan nationals residing in Libya. April 2019 marks the first month the NVC will begin scheduling Libyan nationals residing in Libya immigrant visa interviews at the U.S. Embassy in Tunis. All impacted applicants will receive a notification with a new case number. NVC will send appointment notices for all future visa interviews at the U.S. Embassy in Tunis.
